Many speeches made by high officials were delivered to and about Sderot people, regarding the need that they will stand firm against the terrorists attacks done by the primitive Quassam rockets that prove to be efficient and deadly.
Many promises were given, yet to be fulfilled, and the gap between what was said and actually done call for some action.
We, a group of friends, mostly veterans of the defense and government organizations, has maid it our target to volunteer and help Sderot people as much as possible.
Trying to avoid the bureaucracy obstacles, free of ego trip and any hidden agenda, we are raising money and gathering equipment, like used computers and music staff, from our friends and colleagues, to help especially young kids in risk and other weak groups of the population in Sderot.Every few weak we are visiting Sderot, meeting the people that are responsible and dealing with these groups of population trying to solve problems and difficulties as much as we can.
We have already bought 70 season tickets to the Cinemateck for 5 groups of kids in risk (out of about 15 such groups).
We have installed 15 computers in day care centers for kids in risk (3 centers out 15).
We have delivered 2 pianos to educational music centers.
We have support and finance trips of leisure to families in need.
There is still a lot to be done in these and similar areas.
We plan to expand these activities and we need your help.
